Presented annually every spring by 40 North | 88 West, the Boneyard Arts Festival is a four-day event showcasing the broad range of creative activity flourishing in our community. Its goal is to bring together local artists, businesses and organizations for a special event showcasing the art of Champaign County.

This year, Jodi Adams is curating a special exhibition right next door to her yoga studio! Gallery 322 is located at 322 N Neil, in the heart of downtown Champaign.

The Art of Nature

Nature plays a vital role in the creative expression of many artists. Nature's beauty and power has inspired many to explore a deeper communion with the natural world. The Art of Nature will showcase the artists who have created their own visual representation of the natural world through acrylics, mixed media, watercolor, photography, metal arts and jewelry, as well as fresh flower creations.

Join us on Friday, April 8, from 5-9pm for an opening reception and sample the art of nature through local food and wine, graciously donated by Prairie Fruits Farms and Autumn Berry Inspired.

Gallery Hours on Saturday, April 9 - 12-5pm

Artists: Jodi Adams, Nephertiti Amen, Carol Farnum, Lori Fuller, Christina Nordholm, Rachel Muich, Mary Torri, with flowers by Delight Flower Farm and nature inspired bites by Autumn Berry Inspired.

Exhibition Opening Reception
heartsopening presents an art exhibition featuring the work of Jodi Adams.

Please join us for the opening reception on Saturday, November 3 from 6pm - 8pm at 115 W. Main, the Living Yoga Center.

Adams' work explores the ever-changing landscape of the natural world. Through this introspective work, she challenges the viewer to examine their own inner landscape of the soul. The images portray the natural world in flux, embodying our inner duality of light and dark, seen and unseen, reality and dream.

Revolution of Self
The opening reception of Alumni on 5: Alumni in the Library Exhibitions, "Revolution of Self" was a huge success! Thanks to all of the artists who submitted their amazing work.

For those who could not attend, please be aware that the exhibition will be open until March, 2012.

624 S. Michigan, Columbia College Chicago Library, 5th Floor

The Fall 2011 exhibition explores the rawness of self-portraiture and self-exploration when it is approached with honesty, both brutal and beautiful; our necessary non-fictions.

What is self-portrait and how can you use it to express revolution of self?
What happens when everything you thought you once knew has been altered; when the necessary fictions melt away?
What does this change look like?
How do you express this revolution/revelation, in your art?

Exhibition Hours:
During Regular Library Hours
September 23, 2011 - March 9, 2012
